Covenant House Pennsylvania Volunteer Inspires New Anthology

Our friendship with Terry Aisenstein began with an online story that eventually became the bestselling Gabriel’s Inferno series. From serious to silly, our conversations covered a lot of ground. We became true friends, encouraging and inspiring each other and the author, who dubbed us The Muses.

Eventually, we Muses began meeting up in person, coming from as far away as Australia to put names with faces and give IRL (in real life) hugs.

Many of us are writers as well as readers, so we began to share our stories and offer feedback. Terry encouraged several Muses who have gone on to write and publish novels. Her cancer diagnosis gave us the chance to offer her some of the support she’d given us over the years.

And when cancer took her from us, we wanted to do something to honor our fierce, funny and brilliant friend.

Terry volunteered at Covenant House because she loved the kids and believed in the mission. To honor her commitment,  we decided to write a collection of stories, Musings: An Argyle Empire Anthology, and donate the proceeds to a cause she loved. The book has raised over $335 so far.

Musings brings together two of Terry’s great loves: good stories and Covenant House Pennsylvania. Our goal is to sell enough copies of the book that we can contribute $1,000 to Terry’s favorite organization.
